Probabilistic prediction model for RC bond failure mode

Adequate rebar-concrete bonding is crucial to ensure the reliable performance of reinforced concrete (RC) structures. Many factors such as properties, cover depth, transverse reinforcement, and presence corrosion will affect bond behavior, consequently, structural performance. While many prior studies have focused on influence aforementioned strength, impact these failure mode has not been thoroughly investigated. A probabilistic prediction model that considers various influencing including loading type developed in this study. This study uses testing results 132 beam-end specimens subjected monotonic cyclic adopts classification methods develop model, which then used evaluate behavior reliability a RC beam with lap splice.
